Solo attorneys in wine country had beautiful brochure websites that generated zero measurable business. We replaced gut-feel marketing with lead-generating systems and dashboards that told the truth.
The Problem
Solo and small-firm attorneys in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, and Sebastopol were spending thousands of dollars a year on websites that functioned as digital business cards. They existed. They had contact forms. They looked fine. But not a single one could answer the most basic business question: is this thing actually bringing in clients?
The attorneys had no analytics setup, no call tracking, and no way to distinguish between a client who found them through Google and one referred by a colleague. Their marketing existed in a black box. When asked "what's working?", the honest answer was always the same: "I'm not sure. I think the website helps."
Meanwhile, competitors — some with noticeably weaker practices — were dominating Google Maps and organic results simply because their web presence signaled authority. These attorneys were invisible precisely where their prospective clients were looking.
What We Built
Through UX Owl — a digital agency co-founded by Gera Yeremin — we rebuilt the attorneys' web presence from the ground up. Not just aesthetically, but architecturally. The goal wasn't a pretty website. It was a measurable lead pipeline.
We replaced the brochure sites with conversion-optimized, practice-specific landing pages targeting the exact searches their clients were making in Sonoma County. Each page was structured around the client's journey, not the attorney's ego.
Solo attorneys have significant latent networks — former colleagues, clients, referral partners — who don't know the full scope of what they do. We built LinkedIn outreach campaigns that surfaced these relationships and turned passive connections into active referrals.
We built each attorney a simple reporting dashboard — connected to their Google Analytics, Search Console, and call tracking data — that produced a plain-English weekly summary: which channels sent visitors, which pages converted, and where they were losing people. For the first time, they had actual answers.
The Results
On average, attorneys saw a 30–50% increase in qualified leads — not vanity traffic boosts, but actual prospects who called, submitted forms, and converted into clients.
Inbound prospects that called or submitted a form
From "I think it's helping" to a data-backed weekly report
Every dollar tied to a channel, a page, and an outcome
More importantly: the attorneys finally knew what was working. One attorney completely stopped a $400/month directory listing she'd been paying for years after the dashboard showed it had never generated a single form fill. That savings alone paid for the project in 4 months.
Gera is a truly innovative thinker. His fresh approach and careful product testing make a massive difference for his clients. I would say the single greatest thing about Gera is his integrity.
